You've read the requirements. You've asked AI. Now ask a real practitioner who's been there.

Where leadership standards meet real life

Client wants LEED v5 Platinum. Then in the first meeting: "We also want Living Building Challenge. Maybe WELL or Fitwel too." There's ESG reporting, of course—including the new SEC climate disclosure rules for supply chain emissions. The project has a data center component and first-floor retail with a massive LCD screen. It's a California location, so you're navigating CALGreen's mandatory embodied carbon requirements AND LEED's decarbonization prerequisites. Which compliance pathway gets you the most LEED points? When do you bring in the LCA consultant? Which EPD database works for both? How do you handle the data center energy load against LEED Platinum's electrification requirement?

“ Official guidance gets you 80% of the way. The last 20% comes from practitioners who've been there. “
